As a general rule, a person in the West System should stay in houses which belong to the West System. The same rule can be applied on a person in the East System. Houses of the East System should be only occupied by the East System people.

In addition to that, a person in the West System should marry those from the same system if he or she wishes for harmony and peace in his or her marriage. However, if one of the couple is not from the same system, the marriage can still be a bliss with some remedies and consultations from a Feng-Shui Master.

In short, the belonging to the same type of system is the top priority.
